Posse History

In 2021, Yuba County Search and Rescue was formed when the Yuba County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse and Yuba County Sheriff’s Women’s Posse merged. Prior to 2021, Yuba County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse had been serving our community since 1967 and Yuba County Sheriff’s Women’s Posse had been since 1984. This page is dedicated to the posse’s history and includes photos from both groups.
